With the main primary and high school campus in Dainfern, Lonehill International Academy has its roots in the suburb of Lonehill.

Lonehill International Academy started as a homeschool and an attachment to the British Council in 2008 to fulfill a need for parents looking for a suitable alternative to the GDE and IEB curriculums available in South Africa. Spearheaded by Derick and Retha van der Schyf and beginning with a handful of students in a homeschool environment, Lonehill blossomed into an established, multi-award winning, private Cambridge International school renowned for academic excellence.

Lonehill Science Lab.

Due to rapid growth, the founders decided to convert the Lonehill campus into a state-of-the-art science lab and move its main campus to Fourways. Lonehill specialises in the Cambridge Combined School Stages RR to 12, IGCSE, AS, and A-Levels for full-time students and homeschooling parents needing an examination centre.

Yes we do from 3:15pm to 5pm.

Which sports are available at Lonehill International?

We have two multi-purpose astro fields for action soccer, netball, volleyball, and other fun activities. We also offer table tennis, chess, debating, drama, and a French club.  On the Fourways campus, there is a ballet school, dance school, and music school, which operate independently.

What about transport?

Yes we do offer transport.

Does Lonehill International offer any excursions?

Yes, both local and international tours.

Is there a tuckshop on premises?
